Contact form
When you use the contact form, we collect your name, email address, optional phone number, and your message.
Membership application
When you apply for membership using our membership form, we collect your first and last name, gender, email address, postal address, mobile number, WhatsApp number (if provided), membership category, and any additional notes you provide.
Technical data
Our web server automatically processes standard technical information (such as IP address, browser type, and access times) to serve pages and keep the site secure. We use a session cookie (see our Cookie Policy) to protect our forms and the board login area.
3. Why we process your data
- Contact requests — to respond to your message.
- Membership applications — to evaluate and administer your membership, including any related correspondence with the board, and to meet the record-keeping duties of a registered association.
4. Who sees your data
Submitted data is emailed to and stored in a database accessible only to authorized board members of Bongo Utsav Dresden e.V. We do not sell your data or share it with third parties for marketing purposes. Data may be disclosed where required by law.
5. How long we keep your data
Contact form submissions are kept only as long as needed to handle your enquiry. Membership data is kept for the duration of your membership and afterwards only as long as required by statutory retention obligations (e.g. for association or tax records), after which it is deleted.
6. Your rights
Under the GDPR you have the right to request access to, correction of, or deletion of your personal data, to restrict or object to its processing, and to request data portability.
