About The Organisation

Bongo Utsav Dresden e.V. is a non-profit, benevolent, cultural organization in Dresden. The association promotes Bengali culture and heritage in Saxony and Germany through community-led participation across generations.

What We Mainly Commit To

  • Raising awareness of the social and cultural heritage of Bengal for all generations.
  • Organizing and promoting cultural activities across Bengal and the Bengali diaspora.
  • Contributing to friendship and integration through cross-cultural, educational, and social events.

Membership Overview

Any natural or legal person can become a member. Minors under 18 require parental/legal permission. Voting rights apply to legal-age members.

The board decides membership approval based on written application. All correspondence should be directed to the secretary at contact@bongoutsavdresden.de.

The Annual General Meeting is tentatively planned for 09.05.2026. Members who have renewed for 2026 will receive AGM details separately. If you have paid but not received renewal confirmation, please share payment proof by 31.03.2026.
