Papiya Das


Papiya Das is a founding member of BUD e.V. and a passionate advocate for Bengali culture. She moved to Dresden, Germany, in 2005 and has been living here for almost two decades. Ms. Das holds a Master’s degree in Literature from University of Burdwan, India. Her academic background has fueled her deep interest in Ancient Indian Scriptures and Philosophy. 
Through her work with BUD e.V., Ms. Das tirelessly promotes Bengali culture, organizing events and initiatives that celebrate and preserve the rich heritage of Bengal.

Jyotirmaya Ijaradar


Mr. Ijaradar Was Born In Bangladesh, And Since 2019 Living In Dresden, Germany. Being An International Student, He Is Passionate About Fostering The Cultural And Social Heritage Of Bengali-Speaking Living In Dresden And Promoting Bengali Literature And Culture

Rudrarup Bose


Rudrarup Bose is a Synthetic Biologist at the Max Planck Institute of Molecular Cell Biology and Genetics in Dresden. Originally from Kolkata, Rudrarup boasts hereditary roots in Dhaka and Barishal, Bangladesh. He completed a Master’s in life sciences from National Institute of Science Education and Research, in India. In 2019 he moved to Dresden to pursue his doctorate at TU Dresden, and has been living here ever since. Rudrarup is deeply passionate about food and culture. His love for eating, traveling, and biking complements his interests in history, theatre, and music. As an ardent enthusiast of Bengali heritage, he is dedicated to upholding and spreading the rich cultural traditions of Bengal in his adopted home of Dresden.
