Dr. Pranay Mandal came to Dresden as post-doctorate in Max-Planck Institute for Molecular Cell Biology and Genetics in 2019. Since then he is an active member of the Bengali association in Dresden. Beside being a scientist, he is also very passionate about Bengali literature, culture and art.

Mr. Ijaradar was born in Bangladesh, and since 2019 living in Dresden, Germany. Being an international student, he is passionate about fostering the cultural and social heritage of Bengali-speaking living in Dresden and promoting Bengali literature and culture

Dr. Writam Banerjee is originally from West Bengal, India, living in Dresden, Germany since 2021. He is an ardent cultural person who is keen to promote the cultural heritage of India in a foreign land. He organized several concerts to promote the same.
Dr Arka Baksi
Cultural Secretary
Dr. Arka Baksi moved to Dresden in 2018 as a Post-doctoral scientist after finishing his PhD from IISc, Bangalore. He is currently employed at the Universitätsklinikum, Dresden. He has been an active member of the Bengali Association since its inception and has been involved in the organization and execution of the activities of the association. He hopes to use his problem solving skills to ensure that BUD reaches even greater heights in the future.
Subhayan Bhattacharya

Subhayan Bhattacharya is originally from West Bengal, India, living in Dresden, Germany since 2019. Working for a software firm in Dresden he aspires to help maintain an online presence for Bongo Utsav Dresden.
